My Professional Journey

A Timeline of My Career and Key Achievements

Throughout my career, I have taken on diverse roles that have enriched my experience in service design, user experience, and health innovation. Each stage has expanded my understanding of people-centered solutions and strengthened my ability to research, collaborate, and design within complex systems.

My professional path brings together work with clinical teams, rehabilitation-focused design projects, applied research, process facilitation, and university teaching. This timeline reflects how I have integrated design, health, and education to create meaningful impact, highlighting the key roles I have held and the value I have contributed at every step.

Service & Strategic Design Consultant

I support health-related design projects focused on developing innovative solutions for people with disabilities across Teletón’s rehabilitation institutes in Chile. I work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals and physicians to research, design, and validate solutions that enhance rehabilitation processes and improve the experience of patients and caregivers.

Lecturer – School of Health Sciences

I teach in the Assistive Technologies for Rehabilitation and Social Inclusion (TARIS) course at the UC School of Health Sciences, integrating design, innovation, and human-centered approaches for students in the health field. I design and facilitate learning experiences that combine research methodologies, case analysis, and co-creation, supporting future professionals in developing the skills needed to improve services, processes, and experiences in clinical and community contexts.

Lecturer – School of Design

I teach in the Experimentation and Prototyping Lab course at the UC School of Design, where I guide design students in formalizing ideas through comprehensive use of materials, technologies (such as 3D printing, laser cutting, and digital fabrication), and critical exploration processes. I design and facilitate learning experiences that blend experimentation, critical thinking, and prototype development, strengthening students’ ability to transform concepts into viable and functional proposals.

Lead of Marketing, Communications & Customer Experience

I led the marketing, communications, and customer experience areas at EVOL, a subsidiary of LipiAndes (formerly Empresas Lipigas), collaborating across all business lines. My role focused on aligning brand positioning and customer experience strategies with the business model, while managing and implementing strategic projects with commercial, technical, and leadership teams. I drove continuous improvement initiatives, process design, and the adoption of solutions that strengthened customer relationships and enhanced the company’s value proposition.

Service & User Experience (UX) Designer

Conducted user research to support the development of new products and services for companies and institutions. Applied agile methodologies and service/UX design tools to identify needs, validate concepts, and create people-centered solutions. Contributed to the strategic design of new products and services and supported organizational innovation processes.

Health Service Design Internship – Pediatric Rehabilitation

Professional internship and thesis project at Hospital Dr. Exequiel González Cortés (HEGC). Conducted in-depth user research to understand experiences and needs, co-creating a user-centered clinical design methodology focused on people with disabilities and their care processes.
